Derpy Squid Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4

Minecraft players have long lamented over the squid mobs which are known to infest oceans and some coastal waters. They don’t drop any meat when killed, the ink sacs which they do drop are of limited use, and players can’t really interact with the squids in any meaningful way. The Derpy Squid Mod changes all this by not just introducing a number of new squids to the game, but also adding a new half-man, half-squid enemy, as well as an alternate dimension inhabited entirely by squids. Apparently the ones you see in standard Minecraft are just harbingers of worse things to come.

There’s plenty of new gear to discover as well. Ink sacs can be combined into ink sac packs, and these packs can be combined to make blocks, which can then be used to make various tools and a sword. The packs can also be used to make armor, as well as special golden ink sacks which lead to still more crafting opportunities. Overall it will probably take several hundred ink sacs for you to make enough blocks to open a portal to the derpy dimension, but that’s where you’ll have to go if you want to try fighting the unique boss squid implemented with this mod.
