If traveling through time in an old-fashioned Police Box sounds like your kind of thing, then you’re probably a big Doctor Who fan. The Doctor Who Client Mod for Minecraft features the world’s first fully functional TARDIS. It actually takes the user to different worlds, though it can be used to traverse a single world far faster than would be possible if traveling by foot, rail or horse. This mod incorporates a lot of content from the popular television series, and it adds another few layers to Minecraft by presenting worlds you can choose to save – or abandon, while trekking through time.

Unlike other mods which tend to force their custom content onto players, the Doctor Who Client Mod and all of its extra features are purely optional. While you might want to try gallivanting through the space time continuum and saving this world or that world, maybe you just like the thought of moving quickly through your standard Minecraft world. Unfortunately, this mod is still in developmental alpha stages and not yet available for download by Minecraft users.
