Faraway | Realism is a resource pack that’s been out for less than a week and has already surpassed 3000 downloads which is definitely a feat and, whenever a pack pulls something like this off, it certainly comes to our attention and we’re quite glad that we came across Faraway | Realism because this is actually a gorgeous looking resource pack that has a lot to offer. The pack is creator Carriebestie’s second attempt at a resource pack and, overall, it doesn’t cease to impress at all in terms of quality so if a realistic resource pack is what you’re on the hunt for then Faraway | Realism is absolutely worth checking out.
The Faraway | Realism resource pack has been built for the purpose of making Minecraft look as realistic as possible by simply adding as much raw detail into the textures as possible. While this particular approach traditionally ends up leading to some fairly noisy looking textures, this actually isn’t the case here and Faraway | Realism actually looks quite delightful. The textures themselves are filled to the brim with detail and noise seems to be completely non-existent so you’ll be in for some pretty breathtaking sights if you give this pack a shot.
The texture resolution of the Faraway | Realism resource pack is fairly high at 256×256 which is why you’ll need a system that can handle high resolution resource packs if you wish to enjoy Faraway | Realism without running into a whole bunch of frame-rate related troubles.
