Halloween season might be behind us but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy some of the expertly crafted mods that were designed with the holiday spirit in mind. Jack O’ Launcher is a mod that was created for MMD Spooky Jam 2018 which, for those who don’t know, is a mod making event that revolves around mods based on Halloween. Spooky Jam 2018 has produced some incredible mods that have added quite a bit of depth to Minecraft’s gameplay and Jack O’ Launcher is definitely among the more impressive mods to surface from it so we certainly recommend trying it out.
The Jack O’ Launcher mod adds a launcher that goes by the same name and, if this launcher feels familiar to you, it’s probably because you’ve played Terraria before because it also consists of this very same launcher and that, of course, is where this particular mod got its inspiration from. The launcher featured in this mod has various different kinds of ammo that players can craft by combining a pumpkin with items such as gunpowder, slime balls, iron nuggets and various others. Each individual type of ammo has its own special effects and we highly recommend trying them all out to experience every single thing that this mod has to offer.
The Jack O’ Launcher mod also gives players the ability to add various kinds of enchantments to their launcher and this can end up making it even more powerful than it already is and, in turn, make the mod a lot more fun to use. The enchantments include Unbreaking, Mending, Launching, Unwasting and even Blast Shield. All said and done, though, Jack O’ Launcher is a great mod that we certainly recommend trying out because the launcher that it implements into the game is just an absolute delight to use.
