Starving to death in Minecraft is never an entertaining experience. First, because you can only starve to death on Hardcore mode, you have that knowledge in the back of your brain that once you die, all the work you’ve put into this particular world will be for naught. Second, because there always seems to be food around when you don’t need it – and never when you really want something to eat. The Jelly Cubes mod can help with this problem since it allows you to craft a new type of food using two balls of slime, stacked either horizontally or vertically, in your inventory or at a bench.
These jelly cubes aren’t some sort of super food, so if you were expecting something like that, this mod is probably going to disappoint you. On the other hand, if you’re tired of starving to death in superflat worlds or swamp biomes in standard worlds, the Jelly Cubes mod will give you a much better chance at being able to find something to eat, therefore boosting your life expectancy considerably. This mod adds only a single item and does nothing to really tamper with Minecraft’s inner workings, so it should be compatible with whatever else you have installed too.
