Logic&Elves is, without a single doubt, one of the most creative and innovative maps to surface for Minecraft in recent times. Instead of giving players traditional and straightforward gameplay sequences that they’ve probably solved before in a lot of standard maps, the map forces them to think and makes them use logic in order to succeed. Not many Minecraft maps force their players to fully utilize logic in order to get through the gameplay sequences but, as the name of Logic&Elves suggests, you simply won’t be able to get through this mod without thinking extremely hard. It’s also worth mentioning that the map’s setting works very well in its favor as well since Christmas is right around the corner.
The objective of the Logic&Elves is to give gifts to elves, and the catch is the fact that you’ll need to figure out what gift you’re supposed to give completely on your own. Each elf will give you a bunch of different tips that you’ll need to determine what gift they require, and it’s up to you to put these hints together and use logic to figure out what gift is perfect for them. There are four different colors of gifts to give, and the elves will be telling you what they want.
The Logic&Elves map has three different difficulty settings which are: Normal, Mental, and Endless. We highly recommend starting off with Normal because the gameplay of the other two difficulty settings is extremely challenging due to the complex statements that the elves give on those settings. Of course, it goes without saying that you’ll need to play the map a little bit before you’re able to fully get the hang of its gameplay mechanics but, after a few minutes, you’ll definitely be able to develop a firm understanding of how the map works and will be able to play it without any issues.
