The Outcast Map 1.8.9

The Outcast Map for Minecraft is an excellent map that delivers a very immersive and engaging experience. It features a ton of stuff that can get any player absolutely hooked on it. It’s been under a month since its release and there have already been around 6000 downloads which is a pretty impressive number. The map features a lot of great stuff like excellent storytelling; engaging gameplay and even a resource pack which is something that has rarely, if ever, been seen before in any Minecraft map since most of them focus mostly on the gameplay.

The key thing that sets The Outcast map apart from all the others is the fact that it basically requires you to apply the resource pack that’s available in the download package. If you don’t apply the pack you won’t be able to get the map to run properly however you’ll probably want to use it anyway because it’s pretty well-built and makes the whole experience much more immersive. The story of this map revolves around the S.S Kraken that was unfortunately sunk due to a thunderstorm that also led to the loss of many lives. The ship crashed on an island that’s plagued with many cannibals and you’ve been sent on a private ship to recover its ruins.

The objective of The Outcast Map is to survive on the cannibal-infested island until you can finally evacuate on your ship. But, in order to evacuate your ship you’ll need to find all the fuel tanks that have been scattered across the island. It’s a pretty daunting task but it’s something that you must do in order to escape with your life. One great thing about this map is that it features a really challenging hardcore mode that can be utilized by players who are seeking a tougher challenge.
