ReNewed World Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.9.4

ReNewed World is MajorHunter84’s first attempt at making a full-fledged resource pack for Minecraft and, as it turns out, it’s a pretty solid attempt. The pack hasn’t really been made with any particular art style in mind and, as its name implies, has mainly been designed to renew the look of Minecraft’s look in order to give players a refreshing experience. Of course, it’s worth noting that the ReNewed World pack isn’t without its flaws, but this is probably to be expected since it’s a first attempt after all. However, overall, it’s a top notch pack that offers some really high-quality visuals.

The ReNewed World has been made with the intention of reworking almost every single one of Minecraft’s textures but as of right now, the pack only makes changes to the core textures of the game and doesn’t go into the thick of things, and this is mainly because it came out fairly recently. The color palette of the ReNewed World pack is quite vibrant, although, it seems to look rather washed out in certain textures such as in the water. A few of ReNewed World’s weapon textures could also use a bit of extra polish but most of them look solid, so this isn’t really that big of an issue.

ReNewed World’s been made at a resolution of 64×64 which is definitely higher than the usual x16/x32 and therefore leads to some pretty detailed textures. It’s important to keep in mind that ReNewed World is only sitting at 10% completion right now, but this number will probably keep rising in the near future as the pack receives more and more updates.
