Transformers Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10

For fans of the Transformers series, whether you’re old or young, Minecraft’s Transformers mod is something you’ll want to check out. You can create vehicles which, naturally, are able to transform into massive killing machines, just like the robots from the series. While this is an exciting prospect, it’s crucial to note that as of yet the mod still isn’t finished – it was released on Christmas day and even then the creator admitted it wasn’t a completed project. However, that doesn’t mean some of the aspects don’t work. Before you can build anything though, you’ll need to get your hands on some energon crystals.

These spawn below about Y: 45 in any newly generated Minecraft world, which puts them at or about the same level you’ll probably be searching for gold. Once you mine enough of these, you can convert them to energon cubes, which are essential to crafting your transformer and getting a vehicle and robot which you can pilot. You’ll definitely want to check out the mod’s website for more information, as well as a changelog and any updates. The Transformers mod is still being updated pretty regularly since it hasn’t been finished yet, so checking back often is just good advice with this particular mod.
