ModernTex v1 is an absolutely gorgeous resource pack by TextureMinecraft and, at the time of writing this, the mod’s been out for less than a whole day and has already started to gain quite some traction for itself. The concept behind ModernTex v1 isn’t necessarily anything earth shattering or revolutionary but, overall, the pack still manages to impress thanks to the exceptional design of its textures. The ModernTex v1 resource pack is still under development and a long way away from completion but, overall, it’s a pack that we definitely recommend checking out if you enjoy realistic resource packs and are looking for one that doesn’t compromise on quality at all.
The ModernTex v1 resource pack comes with some of the most detailed and captivating looking textures that we’ve definitely seen in a while. The goal of the pack is to try to provide players with a modern day realistic look that’s both vibrant and immersive. Each individual texture carries so much detail that you’ll often want to stop and just look at them to admire the stunning beauty that they bring to the table. Colors in the ModernTex v1 also seem to have been brightened up a lot more as compared to those of vanilla Minecraft and this is definitely a good change that’s helped elevate the quality of the resource pack by a significant amount.
ModernTex v1 has a pretty high resolution of 512×512 thereby making this a resource pack that you’ll definitely need a PC with high-end hardware to run properly without running into a whole bunch of frame-rate issues that would hinder the experience.
