Super Sound Muffler is an incredibly useful mod that you’re going to absolutely love using as you play the world of Minecraft. If there’s one particular in-game experience that every Minecraft player can relate to, it’s the feeling of not being able to distinguish one particular sound because of all the different things in the game that tend to give out sounds. Other than this, there’s also the fact that some sounds, such as chickens speaking, can become a bit annoying after a while because players have to listen to them over and over again. The thing that defines the Super Sound Muffler is, of course, the fact that, instead of muting an entire area of the game world, it actually allows players to choose what sounds they’d like to get rid of. There’s an intuitive GUI that you’ll have to bring up whenever you want to configure this mod and, in this GUI, you’ll be able to define all the different sounds that you want to get rid of. Once you’ve given the interface a bunch of sounds to block out, you won’t ever have to worry about them again because the mod will make sure that they remain silenced.
It’s important to remember, though, that before you can actually gain access to the interface of the Super Sound Muffler mod, you’ll need to craft the actual muffler that’ll be doing the muting for you. This might sound like a tedious task at first but, overall, it really isn’t that big a deal because the recipe to craft the muffler doesn’t consist of any rare resources, so you’ll be able to make it without any major trouble as long as you know the right places to look for things.
